Urban.Ag Potting Mix

Our first experience growing vegetable on the patio was put on hold when we had to figure out which soil to use for vegetables. Then there are countless amendments and mixtures to consider. Before you've planted your first seed you are already frustrated. Well not with this soil mixture.

Our unique, locally produced Potting Mix is the perfect combination to grow vegetables. Loosely based off a common mixture known as Mel's Mix, our Potting Mix has three simple and sustainable ingredients: local compost produced by Cedar Grove, an improved and renewable alternative to peat moss or coconut coir called RePeet, and Growstones, which replace unsustainable and unhealthy vermiculite or perlite.
